suite features a comfortable queen bed, entertainment
center with VHS/DVD player, electric fireplace, walk-in
closet / dressing room, and an amazing bathroom with a
custom tiled dual-head shower.
 Looking out onto the forested grounds, the cozy living
room has several seating areas and a high efficiency
wood stove surrounded by river rocks. Artwork
displayed includes carvings by Elk River Artist Jerry
Stoops, and Thomas Kincaid prints. A collection
of Zane Grey Novels and local non-fiction books have
been provided for your enjoyment.
The loft is home to a comfortable sitting area or pull
the privacy curtain to convert to an additional sleeping
area with the queen sofa bed.
This home and setting were established as a retreat - an
oasis of calm. As such, there is no telephone,
cell phone, television, or Internet service provided.

bounty!
Stepping outside of the home, you'll find the Illinois
river easily accessible for swimming and fishing,
Bring your 4 wheel drive to launch your boat from the
gravel bar.
The
IlliRogue Lodge was built using ICF technology
for it's excellent energy efficiency capabilities and is
further enhanced with log siding and river rock
finishes. Staying in this home makes you feel warm
both inside and out. The home employs a variety of
green strategies, including a high efficiency wood stove
for primary heating, insulating shades, rain water
collection system and high-efficiency appliances and
fixtures. All together, these green features and
tasteful finish earned the home an award for "Excellence
in Home Design" by the National Association of Home
Builders.
